First couple of words about Ruaridh and his crash. Well, he crashed on a training and hit his shoulder. He will be back on the bike later in the week in Lourdes, but he rather didn’t start BDS.

Reece Wilson did and was fast, very fast. He was second fastest in the seeding run, but had some problems in the final run. This is what Reece said about his run: “I'm gutted to be honest. Very happy with 2nd in seeding. The top of my race run was great although I had a big mistake and was still right up with the split times then to get a slow puncture so early in the run was just so devastating. But to be mixing it up with riders like Joe Smith, Matthew Simmonds and Sam Dale with a puncture is very pleasing. So I will take those positives into Lourdes and see what I can put together.”

Reece took 10th with 3 seconds gap behind winner Gee Atherton.
