Trek Session is a bike that doesn’t need much introduction – since it was launched with the ABP/Full Floater technology it has been a reference, and simply is one of the best DH bikes out there.
This story is about Žiga Pandur’s custom Trek Session 9.9 OCLV; frame construction is the same as with the standard model, but Trek did very special graphics for our riders. Black frames with white Trek logos are complimented by Unior’s colors and the final result is simply amazing.
Full list of the bike specifications is bellow, but we can sum it up quickly: SRAM drivetrain & brakes, RockShox suspension, Hope wheels with Schwalbe tires and all the other great parts like Gamut, Lizard Skins, crankbrothers, Truvativ, Selle Italia, Sapim, etc.
Žiga is using angleset and has 1-degree slacker steerer. He likes his bike to be high in the front, so he uses BooBars with 30 mm rise & a tall crown on the forks. He rotates his bars very high, same goes for his brake levers.
Standard tire pressure with Magic Marys is 1.8 bars (26 PSI) in the front and 2.15 (31 PSI) in the rear.
Žiga was working a lot of his suspension, tuning the bike with different shim stacks. He found the preferred combination, which we will not reveal, but we can say something about the basic settings: Fork: 95 PSI, 3.5 bottomless tokens, 5+ clicks compression
Shock: 2+ clicks compression, 13+ clicks rebound
