Hardest DH track, limits of DH racing, only for the strongest… This is Red Bull Hardline. Things got crazy in Wales for a third year in a row and Ruaridh again exceled. He was 2nd, only Bernard Kerr was faster this year.
Jure Žabjek “survived” the crazy track in Val di Sole and finished the championships in 30th place! He improved on his result from Andorra and showed that he has what it takes to master the hardest of the events.
Both Filip and Kevin did very good on the 4cross championships in Italy, Flisar was better of the two, finishing in tenth. But honestly our results are in the shadow of fellow Slovenian Mitja Ergaver, new 4X World Champion!
Tanja Žakelj showed her best performance of the season in Andorra – she was 8th on the track that she doesn't like all that much and on the high altitude that is also not in her favor. She again showed that she can still battle for the highest places!
Downhill track in Vallnord proved to be a perfect battleground for the final race of 2016 UCI MTB World Cup season. Both our finalist had a great battle also – they were both fast and they both fell, but both stood up and got to the bottom. Jure was our fastest rider in Andorra – he was 34th!
Jure was defending European DH Champion, so he was in the spotlight on the race in Wisła, on the same race where he won the title one year ago. Race was also important for Žiga, it was his comeback race after the injury the got in Scotland.
