Harry has shown us that he is a constant qualifier for the finals at the World Cups and that he is able to get close to the best riders in the World. Today in Windham, Harry did not do his perfect run and managed to get to 50th position. He is still on a solid 47th overall position in the World Cup. This is what Harry had to say after the race: "I knew I had to go flat out strait out of the gate, but it took me half of my run to get up to speed, that cost a lot of time on such a short track. I will be good to go home for three weeks, for some good preparations and turn up to La Bresse with fresh mind. "
Job well done from the boys today, both did their top results in the World Cup. Harry started as 71st qualifier and managed to take over the hot seat by more than 8 seconds. Amazing ride got him to hold the position and finished at 27th position, which is his best result so far. Nejc had a more difficult job to keep his 37. position from the qualy, he ended up 47th with solid run and also beaten his result from Leogang World Cup this year, where he ended up 51st. Guys are going up on the World Cup scale, so is the whole team improving on the gravity UCi scale, where we currently hold the 23th position! Relax time ahead, after that it's the World Cup in Windham USA.
Cooking can be fun. Today was an easy day, with short training and more time to relax and have some fun. Tine managed to take some time off and rode one the coolest trails around. Could spend a few more days here.... So, how does Unior team prepare meat balls? See below, they were tasty!
Solid day for UTT here in Mont Saint Anne Canada. Rain was pouring down for the last few days, so it felt like Europe. Nejc did his one the best qualifications so far, with 37th place he will have a tough job in Sunday finals to keep that position, while Harry crashed in the last section, so his 71st postion is not the best he can do. Žiga made to many mistakes and unfortunatelly finished 91.
Žiga Pandur was 14th on the course where he had a big crash just a week ago: ''It was a great racing weekend, despite the fact that I still feel the consequences of that crash last weekend. I'm happy with my run and great racing comeback in such a short time.''
Both riders also keep very solid positions in the overall standings - Nejc is 5th and Žiga is 10th together with Wyn Masters.
