We've just returned from the first round of Slovenian downhill cup in Avče. Good start for our team - Nejc Rutar finished 2nd, just behind Austrian pro Markus Pekoll. Žiga Pandur followed Nejc on 6th overall position. Guys are super happy with the result which is a great start for the upcoming season.
Neža did here first downhill race and she was really enthusiastic about it. She didn't have the perfect run in the finals and finished on 7th position, but we all saw her during the weekend and she was really fast on some sections, so we will for sure see here more this year on the Session 88.

Next week training camp in Kranjska Gora, after that it's racing at the IXS cup in Monte Tamaro Switzerland.

We are proud to be also sponsored by another Slovenian company. Edelweiss Ride Support is a registered Slovenian brand. They produce awesome bike bags and accessories. We made a short introduction with Neža, how the bike fits into the bag. It's really cool when you don't want to make scratches on your bike when traveling or mess the car or your flat when the bike is extra dirty. Good job guys, the bags will travel the world this year :)

27 March 2011 Many of the top downhill riders came to Vigo, Spain this weekend for the BIke Contest, the Independent Race. Among them was also Harry Heath, already top ten finisher on week ago on Maxxis Cup in Portugal. In Vigo he had some bad luck on the rough course, but we are still excited about the result.
This is what Harry said after the race: "Practice was really good this weekend and coming into the race I was on pace. It rained a lot on Saturday which made a rough track for racing. On my final run I hit a big rock on a fast straight and lost a lot of time, that held me back all the way down to the rest of the track."
Despite that mistake Harry made a solid finish on 20th place with 8.3 second gap behind the winner of the race Brendan Fairclough.
20 March 2011 Racing season has started in Portugal with Maxxis Cup International in Gouveia. Our riders Harry Heath and Maria Michalogiannaki both had a good result - Maria finished third after Tracy Moseley and Slovenian Zarja Cernilogar. In a much stronger men competition Harry finished eight and had this to say after the race: "It's great to come to Gouveia again, it's a good track to start the year with it being so fast and there is always a strong elite field. It is great to have a solid top ten finish and put into practice what I've learnt over the off season." Men elite race was won by Danny Hart.
