We’ve a hard season ahead of us – with races on four continents. Our main focus is of course UCI MTB World Cup, but we should not forget about all Championships and of course Olympic games in Rio. We’ll race downhill, cross-country and BMX.
Slovenian cycling federation awarded best riders and teams for the achievements in the 2015 season. Our riders and team took the most prestigious awards: Tanja is the female rider of the year, Jure got a special award for results in the past season and Unior Tools team is the mountain bike team of the year.
Ruaridh Cunningham is the 2015 winner of Red Bull Hardline with Jeep, an epic event on the extremely hard track built by Dan Atherton. Reece Wilson was fifth on this invitees only race!
Žiga Pandur set new milestone on the downhill race of the season – he was 24th! Jure Žabjek was also very close, just couple of seconds slower, but still in fantastic 32nd! Zarja Černilogar was 27th.
Tanja Žakelj was never a racer for the events on the high altitude and unfortunately that didn’t change today on the World Championships race in Vallnord/Andorra. She was on the edge of first twenty riders for most of the time and finished in 18th.
