Tanja Žakelj was already convincing on the recent European Championships, but today she was racing even better and that in the company of all best riders. She took 9th in Mont-Sainte-Anne – this is her best result of the 2015 World Cup season – and climb to 13th place overall; she is not so far from top-10.
Reece with his best ever, Žiga with best of the season, Ruaridh with another very solid result and Zarja back after her big crash in Lourdes. On in other words – great team success for the Unior Tools Team on the “25th edition of the Mont-Sainte-Anne”.
We are riding Sessions since the creation of our team (and from even before), and we simply love it, but never before we had such a sweet ride. 2015 650b model is better than ever and the custom UTT paintjob makes it a little bit more special. Here is (almost) everything about the Žiga Pandur’s custom Trek Session 9.9 OCLV.
Tanja has a slow start of the season, but worked hard to get back on top – today in Alpago she was almost on the very top, taking 4th on the European XCO Championships. Not the same as gold she won in the past two season, but still a fantastic result!
Great news also came from 2015 British downhill national championships that took place in Wales. Ruaridh was 3rd, while Reece was 9th. This rounds us the great UTT performance on all of the national champs we had in last two weekends!
Second title for UTT in two weeks! Downhill championships in bike park Javornik also turned out amazing for Unior Tools Team riders. Jure took the title in the elite man category, Žiga was second behind him. Zarja took second on her first race after the injury from Lourdes.
Tanja took her fifth national title on the 2015 National Championships in Kamnik. As expected she had to battle with Blaža Klemenčič for the title, which again made the racing very hard.
We have amazing XC, DH and enduro bikes in our garage and it’s only fair to share details of this bike with you. We’ll start with Tanja’s Trek Superfly SL, build with SRAM XX1 kit and number of other top-of-the-line components. It also has custom blue graphics, courtesy of Project One department.
