Forth race of the Italian national series took place in Nalles, for Tanja Žakelj this was second time this season on the series race. She was fifth today, similar like in Milano, but this time very close to higher final position.

Kamenjak Rocky Trails is now already a traditional spring MTB festival that takes place on the very south of Croatian Istria. Tanja’s main objective was to have a good XC race on Saturday and good training on Sunday’s marathon, on the end she came home with two wins.

Official team launch took place in the City Museum of Ljubljana, but our riders and guest also took the opportunity for riding on the trails around Ljubljana and visit of the city center. Visit to Slovenia wouldn’t be complete without factory tour of Unior’s main production facility in Zreče.

Unior Tools Team gets a lot of fresh energy in its eight season as the UCI Mountain Bike team. New names on the downhill team are Taylor Vernon and Rudy Cabirou that will join Jure Žabjek and Žiga Pandur in Unior’s DH team. Tanja Žakelj starts new 4-year Olympic cycle.

Ruaridh Cunningham and Reece Wilson have different backgrounds and racing history, but passion for mountain biking and racing made them both internationally recognizable Scottish gravity riders. For several years they have been one of the backbones of Unior Tools Team’s World Cup program, but the time has come to give each other one last high-five in the same jerseys and wish each other all the best in the next season.
