Ski-Cross World Champion Filip Flisar is taking his cycling career more serious than originally planned. From BMX bike he jumped on a mountain bike to take bronze at the Slovenian 4-cross championships, which ultimately lead to the World Champs. He was 24th today in Val di Sole.
Ruaridh and Reece joined the biggest MTB circus in the world – the traditional Crankworx festival in Whistler. They both had lots of fun riding & racing and they both have lots of great moments to share with us all. Enter the Crankworx gallery!
Jure had a great racing weekend in Czech Republic, finishing third fastest on the pre-last round of the iXS European Downhill Cup. He was second on Saturday in the qualifications and is now 4th overall.
Specific course in Windham was always up to Tanja’s likings and again he had a very good race here. She was 6th, just behind the podium. Her best World Cup result of the season is not the only positive thing from the race, race analysis showed that she was one of the fastest in half of the laps!
Ruaridh Cunningham matched his best result of the UCI MTB World Cup season – he was 20th in Lenzerheide and again today in Windham! He had a very good run on the loose and dusty course and was actually less than 4 seconds away from the podium!
Tanja Žakelj was already convincing on the recent European Championships, but today she was racing even better and that in the company of all best riders. She took 9th in Mont-Sainte-Anne – this is her best result of the 2015 World Cup season – and climb to 13th place overall; she is not so far from top-10.
Reece with his best ever, Žiga with best of the season, Ruaridh with another very solid result and Zarja back after her big crash in Lourdes. On in other words – great team success for the Unior Tools Team on the “25th edition of the Mont-Sainte-Anne”.
We are riding Sessions since the creation of our team (and from even before), and we simply love it, but never before we had such a sweet ride. 2015 650b model is better than ever and the custom UTT paintjob makes it a little bit more special. Here is (almost) everything about the Žiga Pandur’s custom Trek Session 9.9 OCLV.
